Custom Hat Patches Part III
The third card in the set is a fan favorite and a lock for HOF, Ichiro Suzuki. The Ichiro card was a bit of a concern for me because I wanted to stick to nicknames that were 3-4 letters long so the card did not become overburdened with diecut windows and Ichrio is limted on nicknames. A few include Ichi, Hercules and a rumored Ichi Balls that we can apparently thank Buhner for supplying. So, I decided to go with the name he prefers to go by, simply Ichiro.

Custom Hat Patches Part II
The second card in the set is my favorite player , Ken Griffey Jr. I love the back on this card, the image of Griffey looking over his shoulder is perfect.

Custom Hat Patches
My continued attempt to work with relics has led me to create a 4 card set based on Mariners (and ex-Mariners) and their nicknames. Again I am using swatches from a Mariners ball cap and I wanted to keep the die cuts to 3 or 4 windows but Ichiro is pretty limited on his nicknames so I just went with his name.
I need to clean up the die-cut windows but otherwise I am pretty happy with the work. So, here is the first card in the set, front and back. My brother’s favorite player Jay Buhner.

Custom Mariners Ball Cap Logo
This is my first attempt at creating a relic card. I made this card for my son for Christmas using the Mariners logo from a baseball cap. I had some issues with some of the paste seeping on to the relic material along the right side but otherwise it went semi-smooth during the process.
Because this was a logo from the front of a baseball cap the patch is pretty thick and that slowed me down a bit. I think my next attempt will be with a smaller patch/thinner patch or just a basic swatch using the material from the rest of the ball cap.
